Raul Lezcano

Born in Miami, FL Raul Lezcano was raised in Hialeah to the age of 11. He was then moved three hours north to Palm Bay, FL where he would graduate High School.  While attending Palm Bay High School Raul participated in football & track.  In 2000, the high school Raul attended and played football for won the school’s first State Championship. Helping earn him a scholarship to play college football. He would later leave college to join the United States military.

Raul Lezcano is a military veteran that spent 15 years in the United States Air Force. While serving in the military he earned numerous medals to include 2 Army Commendation Medals as a combat operator during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His contributions and dedication to duty successfully help his team and himself complete 242 missions. Overcoming 28 improvised explosive device detonations, 14 small arms fire engagements, and several complex rocker propelled grenade attacks.

He is also a husband and dedicated father to four amazing children. Since retiring from the military, he found his calling coaching football. For the last 12 years, he has coached football on various levels in youth football and now more recently he is on the coaching staff at Jefferson High School in Tampa Bay, FL.

When he is not coaching football Raul can be found doing a variety of outside activities. From playing outside with his kids, help train youth kids in sports for free, or helping non-profit organizations fund raise school supplies for kids. On numerous occasions Raul has mentioned on the show that he is acclaimed BBQ grill master. He has won Rib BBQ contests and Chili cook-offs in the Tampa Bay area.

Raul can also be found co-hosting On The Clock radio. Known for is charisma, storytelling, and insight on sports it gave his longtime friend Jorge Martinez and himself the idea to create their very own podcast. With a long history in sports, military and family it is no surprise to his friends and family he would be great as a sports radio host.
